The second edition of Design Miami in Paris took place in the City of Light from October 16 through 20 last year. Seeing limited edition, mid-century modern, art deco, brutalist, and experimental design pieces within the boiserie-clad rooms of L’hôtel de Maisons, an 18th-century mansion in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, brought me a flash of inspiration.
