Skip to content BEAVER, W.Va. (WVVA) - Sheriff Frank Priddy with the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office reported two people were arrested after a Raleigh County burglary incident. On May 2nd, 2026, deputies responded to a call in Beaver regarding a burglary. During the course of the investigation, deputies were able to gather enough evidence resulting in the arrest of two suspects. Johnny Miles Williams and Wyoma Pettry were both charged in the incident.

FAYETTE COUNTY, W.Va. — A Fayette County jury found Harold “Butch” Blake guilty of 36 felony sex crimes. Prosecutors said Blake abused five children over a period of about 40 years. At the time of the crimes, the victims all were minors. After three days of testimony, the jury convicted Blake on nine counts of second-degree sexual assault, 13 counts of first-degree sexual abuse, 12 counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian or custodian, and two counts of incest.
