Austin-based Apptronik makes robots that it hopes businesses will use in manufacturing, on the warehouse floor and in other places where human arms and legs are an asset. But robots, the company says, can go places that aren’t safe for people — and can sometimes perform tasks faster and more efficiently. Omar Gallaga has reported on Apptronik and he says the company’s new 90,000 square-foot robot park gives the company a lot more room for robot testing and training.
