Conduction system pacing versus biventricular pacing for cardiac resynchronization therapy: an updated systematic review and meta‑analysis
Abstract Conduction system pacing (CSP) has emerged as a potential alternative to biventricular pacing (BiVP) for cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT). However, the relative efficacy and safety of different CSP techniques remain unclear. We searched PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing CSP with BiVP. The primary outcome was the composite of all-cause death or heart failure hospitalization.
Workplace telepressure and workplace cognitive failure among hospital financial personnel: a mediation analysis and latent profile analysis based on work–family conflict and self-regulatory fatigue
Abstract Objective: Adopting both person-centered and variable-centered perspectives, this study examined the relationship between workplace telepressure and workplace cognitive failure among hospital financial personnel, along with the underlying mechanisms. Latent profile analysis was further employed to identify potential subgroups of workplace telepressure.
Clinicopathological and molecular characteristics of primary pulmonary choriocarcinoma: a case report and systematic review
Abstract Primary pulmonary choriocarcinoma (PPC) is an exceptionally rare and aggressive non-gestational trophoblastic malignancy for which no standard treatment has been established. We report a 61-year-old man with PPC and brain metastases who received intracranial radiotherapy and first-line albumin-bound paclitaxel plus cisplatin, followed by etoposide, capecitabine, and camrelizumab after disease progression.

Epidemiological impacts and cost-effectiveness of daily and on-demand oral pre-exposure prophylaxis among key HIV populations in China: An economic evaluation | Epidemiology & Infection | Cambridge Core
Introduction The global HIV epidemic remains severe [1], with key populations and their sexual partners accounting for 70% of all HIV cases worldwide in 2022 [2]. Sexual transmission is the predominant route, particularly in China, where 97% of HIV cases are attributed to sexual contact [Reference Li and Zhao3].

Mass wasting reveals ongoing asymmetric retreat of the martian north polar ice cap - Nature Communications
Abstract Ongoing mass wasting through ice block falls is intensive at the north polar ice cap of Mars. We monitored how this activity is currently shaping the marginal steep scarps of the ice cap, which holds a record of the planet’s climate history. With AI-driven change detection between multi-temporal high-resolution satellite images, we created a comprehensive map of mass wasting across the entire North Polar Layered Deposits (NPLD).
TLR4/TRIF/Caspase-8/Caspase-1 Pathway in Choroidal Endothelial Cells Promotes Choroidal Neovascularization
Abstract Purpose The purpose of this study was to investigate the role and mechanism of caspase-8 in the development of choroidal neovascularization induced by age-related macular degeneration, with the aim of identifying a potential therapeutic target for neovascular age-related macular degeneration.
Knee joint | Radiology Reference Article | Radiopaedia.org
The knee joint is a modified hinge joint between the femur, tibia, and patella. It is the largest synovial joint in the body and allows flexion and extension of the leg as well as some rotation in the flexed position.
Knee capsule | Radiology Reference Article | Radiopaedia.org
The knee capsule is a dual-layered structure that surrounds the knee joint. It is relatively thin anteriorly and posteriorly and thickened laterally by the collateral ligaments. Gross anatomy The outer layer of the knee capsuleconsists of fibrous connective tissue to hold the joint in place, whereas the inner layer consists of a synovial membrane which secretes synovial fluid into the joint to provides lubrication.
Thickness of the Seasonal Deposits at the Martian North Polar Region From Shadow Variations of Fallen Ice Blocks
1 Introduction When life emerged on Earth billions of years ago, the climate of Mars could have been with a thick atmosphere and a circumpolar ocean of liquid water in the northern hemisphere (Head III et al., 1999; Schmidt et al., 2022). Unfortunately, the present Martian surface is barren and arid with water tied up in the polar caps and in the subsurface, or even in the Martian crust (Scheller et al., 2021).
Lateral collateral ligament of the knee
The lateral (fibular) collateral ligament (LCL) is on the lateral aspect of the knee and forms part of the posterolateral corner. It is a major knee stabilizer against varus forces 6. The lateral aspect of the knee is divided into three layers and the LCL is part of the deep layer of the lateral aspect of the knee. The LCL originates within an osseous depression slightly posterosuperior to the lateral femoral epicondyle and inserts onto the anterolateral fibular head 4,5.

Recent advances in neoantigen vaccines for treating non‐small cell lung cancer
INTRODUCTION Lung cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Many patients with lung cancer are diagnosed at the late stage and show poor prognosis because of ambiguous symptoms. Approximately 1.6 million deaths due to lung cancer are reported every year worldwide.1, 2 Lung cancer is classified into two major subtypes: non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that accounts for 80%–85% of the total cases and small cell lung cancer (SCLC).

Cost-effectiveness of universal screening for chronic hepatitis B virus infection in China: an economic evaluation
Summary Background China has the highest prevalence of hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection worldwide. Universal HBV screening might enable China to reach the WHO 2030 target of 90% diagnostics, 80% treatment, and 65% HBV-related death reduction, and eventually elimination of viral hepatitis. We evaluated the cost-effectiveness of implementing universal HBV screening in China and identified optimal screening strategies.
Parenting Practices and Emerging Adult Well-Being in the United States and China
Parenting practices that promote or inhibit autonomy in their emerging adult child can impact the well-being of emerging adults. This study explored a variety of parenting practices and how these practices impact emerging adult well-being across two cultures. Associations between parental support, involvement, helicopter parenting, and psychological control and emerging adults’ well-being were compared between two samples of participants ages 18-25: American (n = 643) and Chinese (n = 514).

May-Thurner syndrome, a diagnosis to consider in young males with no risk factors: a case report and review of the literature
Abstract Background May–Thurner syndrome is an anatomical condition characterized by compression of the left common iliac vein by the right common iliac artery, causing venous outflow obstruction. It is an uncommon cause of deep vein thrombosis and is more prevalent among women. This paper highlights the importance of considering May–Thurner syndrome in young males without risk factors presenting with left lower limb pain, as endovascular treatment may be required.

Neoantigen identification strategies enable personalized immunotherapy in refractory solid tumors
BACKGROUND. Recent genomic and bioinformatic technological advances have made it possible to dissect the immune response to personalized neoantigens encoded by tumor-specific mutations. However, timely and efficient identification of neoantigens is still one of the major obstacles to using personalized neoantigen-based cancer immunotherapy. METHODS.
