A computable metabolic–visceral adiposity phenotype and self-reported stroke across population-based surveys: cross-sectional and secondary longitudinal analyses
Abstract We evaluated the metabolic score for visceral fat (METS-VF) as a candidate computable metabolic–visceral adiposity phenotype associated with self-reported stroke across population-based datasets. Cross-sectional analyses included NHANES 2005–2010, NHANES 2011–2016, and CHARLS; a secondary longitudinal analysis used ELSA.
Correction: Stress-induced phosphoprotein 1 mediates hepatocellular carcinoma metastasis after insufficient radiofrequency ablation
Correction to: Oncogene https://doi.org/10.1038/s41388-018-0169-4, published online 21 March 2018 Following publication of this article, the authors noted an inadvertent error in Supplementary Fig. 5A that occurred during figure preparation. Specifically, the GAPDH loading control image shown in Supplementary Fig. 5A was mistakenly duplicated from the GAPDH panel used in Supplementary Fig. 6 during manuscript preparation.

Prediction of microvascular invasion in hepatocellular carcinoma using contrast-enhanced ultrasound and deep learning
Abstract Microvascular invasion (MVI) is a key prognostic factor in hepatocellular carcinoma but is currently only detectable after surgery. Here, we develop MAPUSE, a deep learning model using contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) to predict MVI non-invasively. We train and test the model on 5148 CEUS videos from 1716 patients across multiple centers.
Correlation Analysis of Clinical, Imaging, and Genetic Etiologies in Pediatric Hereditary Cerebellar Atrophy: A Single-Center Study
1 Introduction Cerebellar atrophy (CA) is a rare neuroimaging feature in pediatric neurology, characterized by widening of the cerebellar cortical sulci due to tissue loss, with initially normal cerebellar structure and posterior fossa size (Poretti et al. 2008). Diagnosis relies on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The cerebellum is involved not only in regulating gait, posture, balance, and coordination of goal-directed movements (Ataullah et al.

Frontiers | Cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein, glucose index as a novel marker for predicting in-stent restenosis after drug-eluting stent implantation in patients with acute coronary syndrome
Introduction Despite advances in drug-eluting stents (DES) and secondary prevention, in-stent restenosis (ISR) remains a significant challenge, occurring in approximately 10% of percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) (1). Of additional concern, the treatment of patients with DES-ISR has proven to be particularly challenging (2). Therefore, identifying risk factors for ISR following DES implantation is essential for optimizing personalized therapy and enhancing secondary prevention (3, 4).
Amlodipine‐Based Therapy and Its Effect on Time in Target Range and Long‐Term Blood Pressure Variability Across Age Groups in Chinese Patients With Primary Hypertension: A Retrospective Study
1 Introduction Hypertension is the leading risk factor for adverse cardiovascular (CV) outcomes [1]. According to World Health Organization (WHO) data, the global number of people with hypertension doubled over the past three decades, from 650 million in 1990 to 1.3 billion in 2019 [2]. In China, the prevalence of hypertension among young and middle-aged adults has risen markedly [3].

A histopathology-based artificial intelligence system assisting the screening of genetic alteration in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma - British Journal of Cancer
Abstract Targeted therapy for intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) shows superior survival outcomes but patients with certain targetable alterations are no more than 20%. Genetic alteration screening for all ICC patients is of high cost and not routinely performed. This study intends to develop a histopathology-based artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted system for predicting genetic alteration of ICC.

Legacy Effects of Sorption Determine the Formation Efficiency of Mineral-Associated Soil Organic Matter
Sorption of dissolved organic matter (DOM) is one major pathway in the formation of mineral-associated organic matter (MOM), but there is little information on how previous sorption events feedback to later ones by leaving their imprint on mineral surfaces and solutions (“legacy effect”). In order to conceptualize the role of legacy effects in MOM formation, we conducted sequential sorption experiments with kaolinite and gibbsite as minerals and DOM derived from forest floor materials.
