My favorite reads of 2023
There are just a few days left in the year, and like the rest of the world, I’m spending lots of time lately reflecting on what’s happened in 2023 and what’s coming up in 2024. I know some people think that sharing reading stats can encourage us to lose the fun of books, but since the reading communities I participate in tend to keep track of things like this, I do have some numbers to share. I read 116 books this year. Of those 116 titles, 41 were for my podcast.

A Merry Little Meet Cute
Review by Thank you to Avon Books and Netgalley for sending me an e-ARC of this book to read and review. I really enjoyed this one and thought it was a fresh take on a holiday romance. It was basically the Hallmark channel at Christmas time, but in book form and way spicier. I thought this author combo was delightful. There were so many swoony sweet moments, mixed in with hot and spicy scenes as well. I loved the boy band background and the openness about sex work as a career.

I did enjoy the fact that they were both secretly super fans of one another. It was a super easy read that had me captivated but there wasn't quite enough of an emotional connection for me between Bee and Nolan.
