We continue to dry out with a northwesterly flow around a ridge that will slowly build into the region just in time for America's 250th birthday. A weak system will pass by Washington Thursday leading to some breezy winds and partly cloudy skies. After Thursday, winds slow down and skies remain clear for a sunny and warm for Friday. The Fourth of July will see gusts up to 25 MPH except for the Kittitas Valley and the Columbia River Gorge where gusts will be up to 40 MPH.
