More than 230 passengers and crew members were evacuated from an IndiGo flight at Bengaluru airport on Tuesday evening after smoke was detected in the aircraft’s cabin and cockpit, with two passengers sustaining minor injuries during the evacuation process, according to a PTI report, citing sources. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said the incident involved IndiGo flight 6E 6017, an A321 aircraft registered as VT-IME, which was scheduled to operate from Bengaluru to Chennai.
