It didn’t take long for St. Augustine’s offense to start piling up points at the Caesars Superdome on Saturday night against East Ascension. St. Augustine only needed two plays to find the end zone on its first drive, which saw senior running back Patrick Robinson Jr. race around the right side for a 42-yard touchdown run. The Purple Knights went on to win 52-7 over East Ascension, improving to 3-0 on the season after totaling 387 yards of offense and 26 first downs in Week 3.

Holy Cross senior Drew Aguirre had been waiting for his chance to make a game-winning field goal. Aguire got an opportunity to send his team home with an overtime win in Friday’s Week 3 matchup between Holy Cross and St. Charles Catholic, which was tied up at seven at the end of regulation. St. Charles got the ball first in the overtime period, but Holy Cross prevented the Comets from scoring after forcing a fumble and recovering it.

The Young Audiences-L.B. Landry winner was led by a senior's two-way effort

L.B. Landry was looking for its first win of the season, and senior Akiree Hogan was willing to do whatever it took for his team to come out ahead against Young Audiences. Hogan saw the field early and often as Landry’s workhorse running back, accounting for nearly 200 yards of offense while also contributing as a defensive back. The two-way star Hogan scored two of the three Buccaneers touchdowns in an 18-12 win over Young Audiences on Thursday at Morris Jeff Stadium.
