NEW YORK (PIX11) — Despite a gloomy start to the weekend, followed by record daily rainfall at Bridgeport, CT, expect mainly dry conditions today across the tri-state with only a slight chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm north and west of the city. Overall, the first half of the week looks nice, with temperatures mainly in the upper 70s to low 80s across our area. Overnight lows should get down into the 60s and low 70s. There is another chance for showers and storms by Thursday.

NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — A weak front will move southward and pass through the region as high pressure moves in from the west. We can expect a mix of sun and clouds Wednesday afternoon, with lower humidity as winds shift to the northwest. The high temperature will be 85 in the city, low to mid-80s in the suburbs. Thursday will be partly cloudy with afternoon showers and thunderstorms as a cold front moves through the area. Some of these storms may contain locally heavy downpours.

NEW YORK (PIX11) — After a stormy finish on Monday, expect a drop in humidity today, along with a gradual cooldown and less humid conditions for the rest of the week. Have the umbrella handy, as a few scattered showers are slated to arrive between 3 and 9 p.m., followed by more widespread rain tomorrow morning. We will keep an eye out for the morning commute as things progress and let you know whether an alert is needed.
