Baywatch Reboot: Fox TV Show Announces Release Date Window

The upcoming revival of the hugely popular from has secured a new release window. The upcoming series was previously scheduled to air during the fall of 2026 and has now been pushed to next year. Following its renewal of 17 unscripted shows, Fox has announced that the Baywatch reboot will release in late January 2027. “There’s only one Baywatch,” said Michael Thorn, president of Fox Television Network (via THR).

The cast of Baywatch was out in full force on Wednesday as shooting began in Los Angeles for the reboot, which follows the story of Hobie Buchannon and his lifeguard crew. Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader was glowing in the show's signature bright red swimsuit, as she prepared for her role as Selene, captain of the rival Zuma Beach lifeguards.
