SERENA-6 interpretation and clinical implications: intercepting endocrine resistance in metastatic breast cancer
Introduction In patients treated with first-line AI plus CDK4/6 inhibitor, SERENA-6 showed the benefit of switching from an aromatase inhibitor to the oral SERD camizestrant upon detection of an emerging ESR1 mutation, before disease progression. While this adaptive oncology approach has shown key benefits for patients, the integration of emerging ctDNA targets into treatment decisions has been questioned.
116 Impact of Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy (NACT) Response on Clinical Outcomes With Ribociclib (RIB) in HR+/HER2− EBC: A Subgroup Analysis From the Phase 3 NATALEE Trial
Background Initial trials establishing efficacy benefit of chemotherapy in patients with hormone receptor–positive (HR+)/HER2-negative (HER2–) early breast cancer pre-date the use of CDK4/6 inhibitors (CDK4/6i). Potential chemotherapy de-escalation in this population is of significant interest.

6. Diagnosis and Monitoring of T-DXd-Related ILD Current published recommendations for the early identification and management of T-DXd-related ILD in other jurisdictions do not necessarily fully apply to the Canadian health care environment, with variable timely access to pulmonary function tests (PFTs), high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT), and subspecialty respirology expertise.

Cancer screening and prevention in BRCA mutation carriers: a missed opportunity?
Summary While the elevated lifetime risk of breast and ovarian cancer is well recognised for patients with a BRCA mutation, the implementation of effective risk reduction strategies has been fraught with challenges. This report from an international database and published in the British Journal of Cancer reveals suboptimal rates of utilisation of surveillance/preventative measures globally.
