Industry Agrees with FCC Ruling on Analog FM on Interop Channels The National Public Safety Telecommunications Council (NPSTC) still backs its 2013 filing that supported equipment with analog FM capability to safeguard public-safety interoperability, but doesn’t have a current collective opinion. “The FCC gave us what we asked for, so we are happy that the issue has been addressed,” said NPSTC Executive Director Marilyn Ward.
