What started as a routine deposit at a South Haven credit union launched an investigation that police say uncovered nearly a decade of embezzlement. Sarah Till, a former employee at Water’s Edge Counseling Services in South Haven, was arraigned Friday morning on two felonies; embezzlement of $100,000 or more and using a computer to commit a crime.

Ahead of Michigan's 2026 General Election, Kalamazoo County election officials invited residents to take a look at part of the voting process. Held before each election, Kalamazoo County Clerk and Register of Deeds Meredith Place hosted a Public Accuracy Test alongside the county election commission Thursday afternoon at the Kalamazoo County Clerk's office.

One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, but through early detection, nearly all of those women could be cured. It's why the Tree of Love Program through Beacon Health System has aimed to make sure cost doesn't stand in the way of potentially life saving screenings. "That would be impossible to feel in the middle of the breast. So we're really looking for very early signs of cancer," Dr. Marcio Curvelo with Beacon Kalamazoo said.
