Mon, August 24, 2026 at 2:30 PM MOBILE, Ala. (NBC-15) - A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for the NBC-15 area until 7pm this evening. Given the environment today, any storms that develop today will have a chance to become strong or even severe. If storms become severe, damaging winds up to 65 mph will be the main concern, but large hail, heavy rain, and frequent lightning will all be possible.
