On Dec. 2, the state Superior Court issued a 34-page ruling, upholding a 30 to 105-year prison sentence for Andrew E. Howland, who kidnapped a trans boy five years ago and sexually assaulted him. In December 2020, Howland kidnapped a 13-year-old trans boy from Indiana and transported him to a hotel in Lancaster, Pa., where he sexually assaulted the boy, according to court records. Howland was 38 years old at the time of the incident. He’s currently 43 years old.
