Mount Nittany Health’s new patient tower expected to open by end of 2026 Original

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WTAJ) — After breaking ground in 2023, Mount Nittany Health’s new patient tower is nearly ready to open its doors. The estimated $350 million project is ten stories tall with just under 170 beds. Each room is approximately 700 square feet and will include a private bathroom and shower. The Mount Nittany Health logo went up on the tower this week, but the medical center says there is still more work to do on the inside.

The Office of Aging hosted its third annual Scam Jam on Thursday. In past years, it was a way for the older population to get connected with resources to help them beat scams. This year, professionals in the field like case workers and other organizations joined in as well.
