We develop mixed finite element methods for the linear stress-gradient elasticity problem based on symmetric Taylor--Hood elements. We establish the stability of the symmetric Taylor--Hood pair on simplicial meshes in both two and three dimensions, thereby resolving the stability left open by Brezzi, Fortin, and Marini in 1993.
Role of intermittent hypoxia in the dysregulation of serum uric acid levels in non-obese adults with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome
Abstract This study investigated the association between serum uric acid (SUA) and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) and identified risk factors for elevated SUA in non-obese patients. Consecutive non-obese patients referred to the sleep center for suspected OSAS were included. Correlation, multiple linear regression, multivariable logistic regression, and ROC analyses were performed. A total of 291 participants were included.
Forging the Green Future: How Dynamic Technological Capabilities Drive the Smart–Green Synergy in Supply Chain Management
1 Introduction Global manufacturing is increasingly shaped by the dual pressures of digital transformation and environmental sustainability. On the one hand, Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics, the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, and digital platforms, are changing how firms collect supply chain information, coordinate activities, and respond to environmental uncertainty.

Topical therapies for diabetic foot ulcers: a systematic review and network meta-analysis
Diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) is a major cause of amputation and mortality worldwide. Numerous topical therapies exist, but evidence regarding their comparative efficacy is fragmented. Previous meta-analyses often compared non-mutually exclusive treatments, limiting their clinical guidance value. In this Bayesian network meta-analysis of 51 randomized controlled clinical trials involving 6161 patients, 12 topical interventions significantly improved healing rates compared with the standard of care.

Psychological Factors, Serum Trace Elements, and Clinical Features of Factitious Oral Ulcers in Children and Adolescents: A Cross-Sectional Study
1 Introduction Factitious oral ulcer (FOU) (Figure 1), categorized as a traumatic oral ulcer, arises from intentional self-harm or unconscious habitual behaviors such as chronic lip/cheek/tongue biting or mechanical irritation using foreign objects. These repetitive injurious behaviors induce deep, irregularly shaped ulcers predominantly in the lower labial mucosa, buccal regions, and tongue, with persistent trauma impeding natural healing processes (Gonçalves et al. 2017).
Psychological Factors, Serum Trace Elements, and Clinical Features of Factitious Oral Ulcers in Children and Adolescents: A Cross‐Sectional Study
Objective This study examined associations between psychological factors, serum zinc/iron levels, and clinical features of factitious oral ulcers in children (3–16 years). Methods A cross-sectional analysis of 69 patients (78.3% male) from two Chinese hospitals assessed ulcer characteristics, pain (VAS), micronutrient levels, and psychological scores (SCARED, DSRSC, CPRS, SDQ). Statistical analysis used nonparametric tests and correlation analysis (SPSS 26.0).

Home-based medication safety: constructing health education for community-dwelling older adults with chronic diseases in China
Abstract Background Chinese older adults with chronic diseases often require long-term medication use. While medication safety education can improve health outcomes and mitigate risks, existing programs lack systematic and comprehensive frameworks. This study aimed to develop Delphi-based consensus content to enhance home-based medication safety education for this population.
Anion Doping Induced Topotactic Phase Transition in Ruddlesden-Popper Cobaltites
1 Introduction The desire to manipulate magnetization using external perturbations—such as electric fields,[1-3] misfit strain,[4-6] and ion implantation[7, 8]—has been a defining challenge for the magnetic community over the past two decades. The significance of these implications is unquestionable, both for the fundamental understanding of strongly correlated physics and for microelectronic applications.

THE FOREIGN JOURNALIST DID NOT HAVE TO WRITE ANYTHING NEW by Ting Lin
Raised on calcified milk, the students stood under a bridge[1]. In their hands, blank sheets of paper flutter. Nothing came of that long season but a few good photographs. How cleanly their faces fit into the frame of their parents. For thirty four years there was nothing in between. When I try to fill it in the world becomes impenetrable. The sparrows, the blackboard paintings, red jumping rope in the courtyard. The man lying silently in the snow like an exclamation mark.

Impact of sea spray‐mediated heat fluxes on polar low development
1 INTRODUCTION Polar lows (PLs) are intense mesoscale cyclones occurring over the subpolar ice-free oceans with a diameter of 150–600 km and a lifetime ranging from 3 to 36 hours (Condron & Renfrew, 2013; Stoll et al., 2018). When PLs make landfall, they usually pose a threat to marine and coastal socio-economic activities, as they are accompanied by severe weather, such as gale-force winds, heavy snow showers, and intense blizzard events (e.g., Moreno-Ibáñez et al., 2021).
Creep-type all-solid-state cathode achieving long life - Nature Communications
Abstract Electrochemical-mechanical coupling poses enormous challenges to the interfacial and structural stability but create new opportunities to design innovative all-solid-state batteries from scratch. Relying on the solid-solid constraint in the space-limited domain structure, we propose to exploit the lithiation-induced stress to drive the active materials creep, thereby improving the structural integrity.
Landscape of transcriptome‐wide m6A modification in diabetic liver reveals rewiring of PI3K‐Akt signaling after physical exercise

Ferroelastically protected reversible orthorhombic to monoclinic-like phase transition in ZrO2 nanocrystals - Nature Materials
Abstract Robust ferroelectricity in nanoscale fluorite oxide-based thin films enables promising applications in silicon-compatible non-volatile memories and logic devices. However, the polar orthorhombic (O) phase of fluorite oxides is a metastable phase that is prone to transforming into the ground-state non-polar monoclinic (M) phase, leading to macroscopic ferroelectric degradation.
Aluminum corrosion–passivation regulation prolongs aqueous batteries life - Nature Communications
Abstract Aluminum current collectors are widely used in nonaqueous batteries owing to their cost-effectiveness, lightweightness, and ease of fabrication. However, they are excluded from aqueous batteries due to their severe corrosion in aqueous solutions. Here, we propose hydrolyzation-type anodic additives to form a robust passivation layer to suppress corrosion. These additives dramatically lower the corrosion current density of aluminum by nearly three orders of magnitude to ~10−6 A cm−2.
Strain-mediated phase crossover in Ruddlesden–Popper nickelates - Communications Materials
Abstract Recent progress on the signatures of pressure-induced high-temperature superconductivity in Ruddlesden–Popper (RP) nickelates (Lan+1NinO3n+1) has attracted growing interest in both theoretical calculations and experimental efforts. The fabrication of high-quality single-crystalline RP nickelate thin films is critical for possible reducing the superconducting transition pressure and advancing applications in microelectronics in the future.
Interface Effect on the Out‐of‐Plane Spin‐Orbit Torque in the Ferromagnetic CoPt Single Layers
1 Introduction Current induced magnetization switching (CIMS) can be realized in a perpendicularly magnetized heavy metal (HM)/ferromagnetic metal (FM) bilayer through a current-induced in-plane spin-orbit torque (SOT), although the determination of magnetization switching still needs an in-plane external magnetic field.[1-8] To achieve the SOT-induced magnetization switching without such an in-plane external magnetic field, the device usually has a particular design to break the symmetry,...
