Between 1996 and 2004, I sat on the editorial board of The International Journal of Art and Design Education and acted as literary editor for 5 years. I have contributed peer reviewed papers to a number of academic journals and edited Art Education in a Postmodern World (Intellect Books).

I also wrote regular reviews for the Times Educational Supplement and contributed to television programmes on education and culture such as the BBC’s Education Today, Amazing Spaces and Rankin Shoots Rembrand…
