Optimal Operation of Water Distribution Networks using Pressure Management via Non-Dominated Sorting Differential Evolution, Shrimp Algorithms and Deep Neural Networks
Abstract Water distribution networks (WDNs) are among the most critical urban infrastructure systems, especially in arid regions such as Iran, where water scarcity has intensified in recent years. Optimizing the operation of WDNs is essential to achieving sustainable, cost-effective water management. One of the key strategies for improving network efficiency is pressure management, which not only ensures reliable service delivery but also reduces operational and maintenance costs.

Unspoken Truths: 12 Things Drivers Keep Never Say
I definitely can relate to road rage. Every state in America has their fair share of drivers that will make you go insane. Whether it is going 10 miles under the speed limit, or those who drive half way off the road because they are putting on make-up. Sometimes I wish I could do society a favor and work at the DMV so I could fail all of the drivers who put my mental health at risk. 1. “You're not cutting me off, I was going to let you in anyway.” 2.

Cooperativity of weak actomyosin interaction
Abstract We report the discovery of a new regulatory mechanism of the actomyosin system in muscle. We show that the weak binding of the myosin-nucleotide complex with unregulated F-actin is a cooperative process. Hundreds of myosin heads must work together for efficient force production in muscle, but the precise mechanism by which they coordinate remains elusive. It is known that myosin initially binds actin weakly, then transitions into a strongly bound state to produce force.

Design of Lissajous beams
Abstract Lissajous singularities were observed both theoretically and experimentally almost two decades ago, but their intrinsic properties and potential applications have remained relatively unexplored. In this Letter, we describe how to design a class of beams containing a single Lissajous singularity and discuss the parameters that control their structure and propagation characteristics. Such coherent Lissajous beams may find application in communication and subwavelength imaging.
