LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A principal at the Academy @ Shawnee who is under investigation has been reassigned. Last week, parents were sent a letter that said, "Hollie Smith is being reassigned to another position in the district." The school's website has her listed as an executive principal for grades 6-12. A letter sent home to parents says Smith was reassigned in March and cannot have contact with staff, Shawnee parents or students. Smith also cannot be on the high school's campus.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — When Terri Webb bought a vehicle to help get her mother to the doctor, she never expected it would turn into a title nightmare costing her thousands of dollars. Webb is one of at least 16 victims of a Kentucky auto dealership accused of selling vehicles they didn't pay for to unsuspecting victims. In September 2025, Webb bought an SUV from Richardson Auto Mart in Bardstown for $3,600.
