GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — In Brown County Court on Friday, a sentence was handed down for Wesley Brice following a horrifying night of violence that left one person dead and another wounded. “I’m speechless at my actions and I'm deeply sorry,” said Wesley Brice. Judge John Zakowski said that Brice, 24, was under the influence of drugs the night of the attack. "It's going to be 79.5 years before you're eligible for parole.

WISCONSIN (NBC 26) — Thursday’s snowfall meant something more for some children throughout Northeast Wisconsin, as many had the chance to stay at home and enjoy a snow day. “I was like really excited and surprised,” said Cloey Oberg, Peshtigo. For some, having a snow day meant not having to take hard exams. “We did have a big test for social studies,” said Oberg. “I had a big science test today and that is being pushed until Monday,” said Bella Klug, Peshtigo.

KESHENA (NBC 26) — On the Menominee Reservation, tribal members are finally getting some closure after human remains were returned to the reservation. “We brought back 23 remains, 18 from the Menominee River area,” said David Grignon, Menominee Tribal Preservation Officer. For decades, the Menominee remains had been stored at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. “They were excavated from the Riverside Cemetery in 1957,” said Grignon.
