Missouri Southern professor killed in Beaver Lake boating accident

The woman who died after a boating accident on Beaver Lake Friday night was Dr. Alla Barry, a biology professor at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri, according to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Barry was swimming in the water when she was hit and killed by a boat, according to the AG&FC.

Square dancers will be performing their routines for the Clothesline Fair in Prairie Grove. It's an annual event that brings people together every Labor Day weekend.
