TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) — The North Mississippi Renaissance Festival, scheduled to kick off this weekend, has been postponed. The unexpected announcement has left vendors scrambling for answers. The event was originally set for Friday and Saturday at Fairpark in downtown Tupelo. It’s now scheduled for Sept. 4-5, according to festival volunteer Mary Morrison. Rumors about the festival’s cancellation blew up on social media Tuesday night, along with allegations of criminal activity.
