13-year-old girl put in ICU with multi-system inflammatory syndrome following COVID-19 recovery

Her family didn't even know she had the virus. Weeks after she recovered, she had to be taken to the hospital BEAUMONT, Texas — Earlier in December, Bianca Sanchez' 13-year-old daughter was taken to a Houston hospital after days of feeling sick and not getting better with the medicine doctors prescribed. "So she was in the ICU and then when I got there, that's when they told me she had multi-system inflammatory syndrome," Sanchez said.
