Why should Atlanta have all the fun and collect all the revenue as one of the host cities for the 2026 FIFA World Cup? The “fun” includes the many activations tied to the FIFA Fan Festival at Centennial Olympic Park and, of course, the matches themselves. With hundreds of thousands of visitors expected for Atlanta’s eight World Cup matches, the city will be buzzing with an influx of global visitors. But it turns out neighboring municipalities may see significant financial benefits as well.

Surrey Christian Writers Celebrate 10 years

An attentive group of around 60 people gathered on the upper floor of Peace Portal Alliance church Saturday October 18, to Celebrate Christian Writing, marking the 10th Anniversary of Surrey Christian Writers, a chapter of The Word Guild. The writers’ group began monthly meetings in 2015, under the leadership of Neil Bramble. Regular meetings are currently held at Renew Church in Surrey. The chapter exists to equip and develop writers for God’s glory and consists of novice to experienced writers.
