He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad. After that, he completed his postgraduate degree in English Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC).

A new global study, published on 16th June 2026 in People and Nature, found that countries with the richest biodiversity are among the poorest today. The researchers argued that this is largely the result of how European colonial powers exploited natural resources in their colonies. The study argued that biodiversity-rich regions became targets for extraction, & economic systems built around that extraction still shape who is poor today.

Every new pesticide that reaches the market costs roughly 20,000 animal lives before it goes on sale, according to a new peer-reviewed paper published in Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology. Rats, rabbits, and dogs are dosed with chemicals, studied for toxic effects, and eventually killed. These toxicity tests used to assess these chemicals, however, largely date back to the 1950s and 1960s. Other countries moved away from this system years ago. India was still running the same tests.
