Engineered TIGIT‐Blockade Membrane Vesicles Synergize with Microwave Ablation to Mediate Liver Metastases Eradication
1 Introduction Tumor metastasis is a major contributor to cancer-related mortality and presents a considerable challenge to the long-term survival of patients [1, 2]. The liver, being the largest solid organ in the human body, is a frequently affected site for distant metastasis, with up to 50% of patients across various cancer types, such as colorectal cancer, either presenting with or developing liver metastases over the course of their disease [3, 4].

Targeting Splenic Myeloid Cells with Nanobiologics to Prevent Postablative Pancreatic Cancer Recurrence via Inducing Antitumor Peripheral Trained Immunity
1 Introduction Pancreatic cancer (PCa) is the third leading cause of cancer-related death with a 5-year survival rate of less than 7%.[1, 2] At presentation, 75–80% of patients are not candidates for surgical resection due to the presence of metastatic or locally advanced disease.[3, 4] The current established standard of care for advanced, unresectable PCa combines systemic chemotherapy and local radiotherapy, but with limited success.[5] Therefore, a number of energy-based ablative...
Transdermal microneedle-assisted ultrasound-enhanced CRISPRa system to enable sono-gene therapy for obesity - Nature Communications
Abstract Obesity, a surging global health challenge, necessitates effective, accessible and innovative therapeutic models. Here we develop a spatiotemporally controllable microneedle (MN) drug delivery platform for sono-gene therapy to fight obesity.

Integration of semi-empirical MS/MS library with characteristic features for annotation of novel amino acid conjugated bile acids
Integration of semi-empirical MS/MS library with characteristic features for annotation of novel amino acid conjugated bile acids Recently, amino acids other than glycine and taurine were found to be conjugated with bile acids by gut microbiome in mouse and human. As potential diagnostic markers for inflammatory bowel disease and farnesoid X receptor agonists, their physiological effects and mechanisms remain to be elucidated.

Abdominoscrotal hydrocele: excision of sac may not be necessary
Summary Introduction Abdominoscrotal hydroceles (ASH) are uncommon occurrences in boys and usually treated similarly to a hernia with the assumption that there is an associated patent processus vaginalis. Treatment in this manner may be challenging due to sac size, extension and adherence to the spermatic cord. Due to the rarity of ASH, the literature is mostly limited to small, single-institution case studies. Objective Our goal was to evaluate two techniques in large number.
