Will Charley’s Biography

Production Journalist at ITV West Country.

I have extensive experience of journalism, having written two exclusives for the Guardian and four stories for The Sunday Times. I have also spent time at five other newsrooms, including BBC Bristol, BBC Somerset, ITV West Country and local papers.

I studied for a Broadcast Journalism MA at Cardiff University.

I was previously the Deputy Editor of Bristol University's student newspaper, Epigram, where I led a team of more than 60 writer. I also produced the newspaper's podcast and was Head Editor for Politics at the national student publication, Sumus Journal.

I have a deep interest in politics, and enjoy reading books by political correspondents. My goal is to become a broadcast journalist covering politics.
