A stretch of wooded dunes along Lake Michigan is now open to the public in South Haven. The 48-acre preserve called Porter Legacy Dunes is located right next to Pilgrim Haven Natural Area. The property adds to a combined 2-mile stretch of natural lakeshore from Pilgrim Haven south to Van Buren State Park.
