@Peter_Wehner Never have I felt so concerned over the lack of civility, excessive partisanship and political dissonance we see in Washington and on Capital Hill today. Elections this year will in large measure depend upon our people’s determination to maintain our self respect and integrity.
If our President did average 7 tweets a day last year, those well over 1,000 tweets offer his political opponents a treasure trove of statements Republicans will have to deny or defend this year rather than address the nation’s concerns. Their time, and his, could be better used.
