But this festive season, London-listed DFS Furniture itself has attracted the interest of a bargain hunter. Wong Man Li, a self-made furniture billionaire from China, has quietly built up a stake in his international rival. DFS was forced to disclose last week that Wong’s shareholding, held through Man Wah empire, had passed a 3 per cent threshold.
