A Large-Scale Standardized Pediatric Normal Electrocardiogram Dataset
Abstract Electrocardiogram (ECG) is a widely used non-invasive method for diagnosing cardiovascular diseases. ECG signal characteristics vary markedly across age groups, with pediatric recordings differing substantially from those of adults. Establishing a reliable baseline for defining a “normal” pediatric ECG across developmental stages is essential prior to designing algorithms for abnormality detection.
Effects of moxibustion aroma stimulation and lower-limb warm stimulation on blood pressure and cerebral hemodynamics: a pilot randomized trial
Abstract Objective: Sensory and thermal interventions may acutely affect both peripheral cardiovascular regulation and cortical activity, but their comparative effects remain unclear. This study investigated the acute effects of moxibustion aroma stimulation, lower-limb warm stimulation, and their combination on blood pressure (BP), heart rate (HR), and cortical hemodynamics in healthy young adult men.

Leucoseptoside A reverses multidrug resistance in breast cancer cells by targeting P-glycoprotein (P-gp/ABCB1) transporter
The overexpression of P-glycoprotein (P-gp) in tumor cells and its mediated drug efflux represent key mechanisms of cancer multidrug resistance (MDR). Natural compounds are attractive candidates for reversing MDR due to their multi-target activity and hypotoxicity. This study evaluated the ability of leucoseptoside A (LeuA) to reverse P-gp-mediated MDR in MCF-7/ADR cells. • The MDR reversal activity of LeuA was assessed based on changes in drug sensitivity measured using the MTT assay.

Video re-shooting aims to regenerate videos with controllable camera motion and viewpoint. Existing methods rely on explicit 3D priors, which are limited by reconstruction quality and often perform poorly when synthesizing previously unseen regions, or on paired videos with different camera trajectories, whose scarcity hinders generalization.
Regulatory T cells in cardiac allograft vasculopathy: from mechanistic insights to clinical tolerance
Abstract Cardiac allograft vasculopathy (CAV) is the primary impairment that influences the long-term prognosis of transplanted hearts. CAV is characterized by diffuse intimal hyperplasia of the coronary arteries, which is mediated by chronic inflammation, the alloimmune response, and vascular remodeling. Current immunosuppressive regimens effectively control acute rejection but have limited efficacy in preventing CAV and are associated with significant adverse effects upon long-term use.
BIRC5 drives cell-cycle dysregulation and represents a novel molecular target in retinoblastoma
|
Abstract Aims and objectives: Retinoblastoma is the most common pediatric intraocular malignancy, although it remains a rare disease overall, yet the molecular targets and therapeutic vulnerabilities sustaining its most aggressive proliferative cell states remain incompletely defined. We aimed to identify actionable molecular regulators and potential therapeutic targets of malignant retinoblastoma progression using integrated single-cell transcriptomics and functional validation.

Identifying sources of mixed groundwater contamination using PMF and stable isotopes: a case study of an industrial park
Abstract Groundwater contamination in industrial parks often involves overlapping inputs of nitrogen, chlorinated solvents, and dissolved salts, making source identification difficult. In this study, 45 shallow groundwater samples from a typical industrial park on the northern margin of the Hohhot Basin were investigated using hydrochemical analysis, PMF, and nitrate dual isotopes coupled with MixSIAR.

Environmental Protection Tax Law and enterprise operational risks: evidence from China
Abstract Whether environmental protection tax reform, as a critical instrument in China’s green development strategy, can effectively promote sustainable enterprise development remains a key proposition meriting exploration in theoretical research. This study empirically examines this proposition through the lens of operational risk, employing the Difference-in-Differences (DID) framework and analyzing data from Chinese listed enterprises between 2013 and 2022.

Machine learning-facilitated real-time acoustic trapping in time-varying multi-medium environments toward magnetic resonance imaging-guided microbubble manipulation | Communications Engineering
Abstract Magnetic resonance imaging-guided acoustic trapping is expected to manipulate drug carriers (e.g., microbubbles) within the body, potentially improving carrier concentration at tumor sites and thereby enhancing targeted therapy outcomes. However, accurate trap generation remains challenging due to complex wave propagation through multiple tissue materials. Moreover, respiration-induced tissue motion imposes stringent requirements on computational efficiency for rapid phase updates.

Limosilactobacillus fermentum WIS32 alleviates LPS-induced depression-like behavior via the microbiota-gut-brain axis
Abstract Introduction: In recent years, the global incidence of depression has continued to rise, posing a severe threat to physical and mental health as well as overall quality of life. While Lactobacillus, as a significant probiotic, has demonstrated remarkable potential in alleviating depressive symptoms, the specific mechanisms of Limosilactobacillus fermentum in depression have not been fully elucidated. This study aimed to evaluate the antidepressant effects of L.

Comparison of the RWDM6 and MG Microphysics Schemes in Precipitation Simulation With the GRIST Model
1 Introduction In General Circulation Models (GCMs), the representation of cloud microphysical processes plays a critical role, as it significantly affects the Earth system through cloud-climate feedback (Stephens, 2005). For instance, cloud microphysics schemes significantly impact the global energy budget by regulating the spatial distribution and lifetime of clouds through cloud-radiation feedback.

Enhancing intangible CSR compliance in supply chains: an analysis of contractual incentives
Abstract We examine a supply chain consisting of one supplier and one retailer. In this scenario, the supplier may engage in low-cost production practices that do not align with corporate social responsibility (CSR) standards but are difficult to detect. The disclosure of such non-compliant production could potentially harm the reputation of the downstream retailer, leading consumers who prioritize social consciousness to exit the market.

Modulation of lignin and anthocyanin homeostasis by GTP cyclohydrolase1 in maize
Introduction The maize brown midrib (bm) mutant, first identified in 1931 (Jorgenson, 1931), is a classic lignin mutant. Among the six reported mutants (bm1 to bm6), bm3 was the first cloned and shown to encode caffeate-O-methyltransferase (COMT), a key enzyme in lignin biosynthesis (Vignols et al., 1995). Similarly, BM1 encodes cinnamyl alcohol dehydrogenase (CAD), critical for lignin synthesis, with mutants showing reduced lignin content, particularly in G and S monomers (Halpin et al., 1998).

Full-length circRNA sequencing method using low-input RNA and profiling of circRNAs in MPTP-PD mice on nanopore platform Considering the importance of accurate information of full-length (FL) transcripts in functional analysis, researchers prefer to develop new sequencing methods base on third-generation sequencing (TGS) rather than short-read sequencing. Several FL circRNA sequencing strategies have been raised.
