With the growing demand for satellite sensing and communication, the limited wireless resources are difficult to support multiple satellite systems. Therefore, it is desired to investigate integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) in low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite systems to enable multi-functionality within a single satellite, thereby saving both spectrum and orbital resources.
Computer Science > Information Theory
Next-generation low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellations face critical bottlenecks in spectral efficiency and onboard hardware complexity. To overcome these limitations, this paper introduces a novel architecture enabled by metasurface antennas (MAs) at the LEO satellites. In particular, MAs are metasurface-integrated feed antennas that perform high-precision beamforming directly in the wave domain, thereby effectively mitigating multi-user interference.
Substrate-Controlled Co-MHAT Catalyzed 1,4- and 1,2-Hydropyridination of 1,3-Enynes Click to copy article link Article link copied!
Abstract Click to copy section linkSection link copied! The unique structure of 1,3-enyne endows it with various reactivities in organic synthesis. In the past decades, via a radical process, great progress has been made in the 1,2- and 1,4-difunctionalization of 1,3-enynes. However, the 1,2- and 1,4-hydrofunctionalization of 1,3-enynes has been studied less.
Nanoimprinting of pressure-intolerant tilted nanostructures assisted by an electric field for high performance optical coupler
Abstract Tilted nanostructures, with their unique light-modulating capabilities, find broad applications in optical fields such as optical couplers, and escalating performance demands of devices impose formidable challenges regarding structural fidelity and fabrication cost-effectiveness, owing to their inherent pressure-intolerant properties. Here, a novel electric-field-assisted nanoimprinting technique is proposed.
Inter-layer edge artifact-suppressed multi-plane target amplitude synthesis for phase-only hologram generation
Computer-generated holography for three-dimensional (3D) display has the potential to provide correct depth cues and realistic occlusion relationships. However, existing multi-layer image-based methods tend to suffer from crosstalk and ringing artifacts at inter-layer edges in complex scenes, which significantly degrades the reconstruction quality. To address this issue, we propose an inter-layer edge artifact-suppressed multi-plane target amplitude-driven phase-only hologram generation method.

Neurodevelopmental outcomes of infants born at high altitude: evidence from Tibet - Pediatric Research
Abstract In contrast to the extensive research on the effects of high-altitude exposure on adult neurological function, fetal and pediatric neurodevelopment in high-altitude environments has received relatively little attention. This study aimed to determine whether exposure to high-altitude exposure during gestation and infancy could influence neurodevelopmental outcomes compared with low-altitude infants. A total of 50 high-altitude-born and 100 low-altitude-born infants were studied.

Nevertheless, their application remains limited to environment- and surface-specific scenarios.
Alterations in static and dynamic topological properties of brain functional network after chronic high altitude exposure: a panel study
Abstract Background: Long-term exposure to a high-altitude (HA) hypoxic environment induces cognitive impairments, but the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Notably, the specific topological features of brain networks in this context have not been thoroughly explored. This study investigated graph-based topological characteristics of brain networks from static and dynamic perspectives, and examined how these alterations contribute to the chronic HA-induced cognitive changes.
Core Fucosylation Represses SMURF1‐Dependent Degradation of CD47 to Promote Tumor Immune Evasion
1 Introduction Glycosylation is the most prevalent and complex form of post-translational modification (PTM), which plays a critical role in regulating diverse physiological processes ranging from cell-cell communication, cellular signaling, to cell adhesion and migration.[1] During tumor development and progression, glycosylation patterns (including glyco-forms and expression levels) on tumor cells are aberrantly altered.[2] Studies have demonstrated that altered glycosylation facilitates...

1. Introduction In recent years, with the declining discovery of new petroleum reserves, enhancing oil recovery (EOR) technologies have become pivotal for meeting future energy demands [1]. Well-known chemical EOR techniques include polymer flooding, surfactant flooding, and alkaline flooding [2,3]. Among these, polymer flooding has been employed in the petroleum industry for over 40 years [4], demonstrating the potential to increase the recovery efficiency of geological reserves by 5–30% [5].
