Architecture today faces urgent demands for sustainable transformation in the context of climate change and ecological crisis. A central challenge lies not only in improving material performance or reducing emissions, but in rethinking how materials shape architectural thought, form, experience and perception. Traditionally, architectural materiality has been approached either through technical-environmental metrics or through socio-symbolic interpretation—rarely through an integrative lens.
A Modified Dynamic Diffusion Finite Element Method With Optimal Convergence Rate for Convection‐Diffusion‐Reaction Equations
In this paper, we develop a modified nonlinear dynamic diffusion (DD) finite element method (FEM) for convection-diffusion-reaction equations. This method is free of stabilization parameters and is capable of suppressing spurious oscillations. We prove existence and, under an assumption of small mesh size, uniqueness of the discrete solution, and derive the optimal first-order convergence rate of the approximation error in the energy norm plus a dissipation term.
Nipple‐Originating Solid Papillary Carcinoma In Situ: A Case Report and Literature Review
This case report describes nipple-originating solid papillary carcinoma (SPC) in an elderly female, emphasizing its diagnostic relevance for solitary ulcerated nipple masses. In appropriately selected cases, particularly elderly female patients without high-risk features, complete surgical excision with clear margins complemented by endocrine therapy may serve as an effective treatment strategy, achieving favorable outcomes while minimizing overtreatment.

Environmental impact assessment of CRM-free supercapacitor electrode materials based on the building materials cement
The escalating global demand for energy storage solutions has thrust supercapacitors into the spotlight due to their exceptional power density and rapid charge–discharge capabilities. This study presents an environmental impact assessment of critical raw material (CRM)-free supercapacitor electrode materials derived from building materials, specifically cement.

On-orbit demonstration of inter-satellite free-space optical stable communication enabled by integrated optical amplification of HPA and LNA
Abstract Satellite free-space optical (FSO) communication is very promising in improving the bandwidth and capacity of space information networks in the future. However, the inter-satellite transmission distance of over 1000 km leads to unstable optical beam pointing, acquisition, and tracking and then generates optical power jitter by a large margin before detection–demodulation.

NF-κB-inducing kinase maintains T cell metabolic fitness in antitumor immunity
Abstract Metabolic reprograming toward aerobic glycolysis is a pivotal mechanism shaping immune responses. Here we show that deficiency in NF-κB-inducing kinase (NIK) impairs glycolysis induction, rendering CD8+ effector T cells hypofunctional in the tumor microenvironment. Conversely, ectopic expression of NIK promotes CD8+ T cell metabolism and effector function, thereby profoundly enhancing antitumor immunity and improving the efficacy of T cell adoptive therapy.
Association of induced abortion with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy risk among nulliparous women in China: a prospective cohort study
Abstract The relationship between induced abortion(IA) and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy(HDP) is inconclusive. Few studies have been conducted in China. In order to clarify the association between previous IA and risk of HDP, including gestational hypertension(GH) and pre-eclampsia(PE), we performed a community-based prospective cohort study enrolling 5191 eligible nulliparous women in selected 2 districts and 11 towns of Liuyang from 2013 to 2015.
