Development and validation of a predictive model for chronic or persistent immune thrombocytopenia in children incorporating anti-glycoprotein IIb antibody: a retrospective cohort study utilizing LASSO regression and bootstrap stability analysis
Abstract Background: Pediatric immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is an autoimmune condition involving platelet destruction. While most cases resolve spontaneously, 20%–30% progress to chronic disease (cITP), necessitating early risk prediction. Current prognostic models for childhood ITP lack platelet-specific immunological markers. This study aimed to develop and validate a predictive model for chronic/persistent ITP(c/pITP) integrating clinical factors and anti-platelet glycoprotein antibodies.

Tidal dynamics in Kompong Som Bay, Cambodia: an FVCOM modeling study
Abstract To improve the limited quantitative understanding of tidal hydrodynamics in Kompong Som Bay (Cambodia), we developed a three-dimensional FVCOM model for the Gulf of Thailand with local refinement in the bay and simulated April 2018–April 2019. Model performance was evaluated using a 25-hour ADCP record in the bay, supplemented by a half-month hourly tide-gauge record at Ko Lak and published K1 harmonic constants at six additional stations.
