Transcription factor ELF-1 drives inflammatory macrophage to exacerbate AKI by GBP4/NLRs/NF-κB axis
Abstract Acute kidney injury (AKI) is an unavoidable complication and critical determinant of prognosis in renal transplantation. M1-polarized macrophages are known to exacerbate AKI progression. Preliminary clinical data reveals a positive correlation between elevated E74-like ETS transcription factor 1 (ELF-1) and pro-inflammatory cytokines in macrophages from post-transplant patients. However, the role of ELF-1 in M1 macrophage and AKI pathogenesis remains unexplored.

DB-1310, a HER3-targeting antibody-drug conjugate, has synergistic anti-tumor activity with trastuzumab in HER2- and HER3-expressing breast cancer
Invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) is the second most prevalent histologic subtype of invasive breast cancer. Here, we comprehensively profiled 817 breast tumors, including 127 ILC, 490 ductal (IDC), and 88 mixed IDC/ILC. Besides E-cadherin loss, the best known ILC genetic hallmark, we identified mutations targeting PTEN, TBX3, and FOXA1 as ILC enriched features. PTEN loss associated with increased AKT phosphorylation, which was highest in ILC among all breast cancer subtypes.
Wide-angle orthogonal polarized metalens for near-infrared imaging
Polarized imaging is capable of displaying the morphological and physicochemical properties of a target and detecting invisible targets, while a large field-of-view (FOV) is of great benefit in obtaining more information about the scene in one imaging session. In this study, we propose a wide-angle orthogonal polarized metalens (WOPM) that works in the near-infrared (NIR) band using a single metasurface-based optical component.

Nonlinear correction of FMCW LIDAR based on the superlets transform algorithm
In frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) light detection and ranging (LIDAR), the nonlinearity of the laser frequency modulation causes an increase in the full width at half maximum (FWHM) of the beat signal. This increase seriously affects the ranging precision. In this Letter, a nonlinear correction method based on superlets transform (SLT) is proposed to build a FMCW LIDAR measurement system with an auxiliary interferometer.
