Single cell RNA-seq analysis identifies junctional adhesion molecule two positive endothelial cells aggravate osteoarthritis by mediating vascular permeability and macrophage adhesion
Abstract Background: Osteoarthritis (OA) is a degenerative joint disease characterized by chronic inflammation and progressive cartilage destruction. Endothelial cell (EC) dysfunction contributes to inflammatory amplification in OA through increased vascular permeability and immune cell recruitment. This study aimed to characterize EC heterogeneity in OA and investigate the role of junctional adhesion molecule 2 (JAM2)-positive ECs in vascular dysfunction and macrophage adhesion.

Study on the Bearing Characteristics and the Influence of Pile Characteristics of Rotary Drilling Screw-Shaped Pile
1. Introduction The RDTSSP is a new type of concrete cast-in-place pile with a certain width and height of the screwed structure continuously arranged on the circular, straight pile. The helical design of RDTSSP enhances soil contact and grip, endowing them with greater load-bearing capabilities and minimal settlement of the pile body [1]. Abbas et al. [2] think that the ultimate bearing capacity of threaded special-shaped piles is 9–16 times that of ordinary circular straight piles.

Graphical Approach to Optimization of Maximally Efficient-Gain-Boosted Feedback Amplifiers
1. Introduction Terahertz (THz) frequencies of 100–300 GHz have received attention in various fields, such as high-data-rate communication, imaging, and radar [1,2,3,4]. THz amplifiers are one of the most important parts in the THz transceivers for these applications. Since THz frequencies are very close to the fmax of the active devices, the available gain from the active devices declines rapidly at these frequencies. Consequently, it is challenging to design high-gain near-fmax THz amplifiers.
Comparative transcriptomic analysis reveals differences in MADS‐box genes of different hypericum in Changbai Mountains
3.1.2 Differentially expressed gene analysis and GO, KEGG enrichment analysis The transcriptome data of the three samples were classified, and a total of 6044 genes were found to be present in all the six samples. In the three samples of H. longistylum Oliv., there were 7660 genes; a total of 6700 genes were found to be common to H. attenuatum Choisy (Figure 2).
Physical Exercise, Cognitive Impairment, & T2DM
Introduction The 10th edition of the Global Diabetes Map shows that, in 2021, an estimated 537 million adults between the ages of 20 and 79 years old had diabetes. In the same year, 6.7 million deaths resulted from diabetes and cost at least $966 billion in health expenditures.

Comprehensive study the promotional mechanism of F on the Ce-Mo/TiO2 catalysts for wide temperature NH3-SCR performance: The activation of the surface ≡Ti-F bonds
Comprehensive study the promotional mechanism of F on the Ce-Mo/TiO2 catalysts for wide temperature NH3-SCR performance: The activation of the surface ≡Ti-F bonds The CeTiOx, CeFTiOx, CeMoTiOx and CeFMoTiOx catalysts were prepared by a solvothermal synthesis, and the effect of element doping on structures, chemical properties and SCR reactivity of the catalysts has been investigated by experimental analysis and density functional theory (DFT) calculation.
Monoubiquitination of Cancer Stem Cell Marker CD133 at Lysine 848 Regulates Its Secretion and Promotes Cell Migration
CD133, a widely known marker of cancer stem cells, was recently found in extracellular vesicles. However, the mechanisms underlying CD133 translocation to the extracellular space remain largely unknown. Here we report that CD133 is monoubiquitinated. Ubiquitination occurs primarily on complex glycosylated CD133. The lysine 848 residue at the intracellular carboxyl terminus is one of the sites for CD133 ubiquitination.
Enhancement of ethanol production from green liquor-ethanol-pretreated sugarcane bagasse by glucose-xylose cofermentation at high solid loadings with mixed Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains | Biotechnology for Biofuels | Full Text
Biomass residues from forestry, agriculture, or dedicated perennial (energy) crops are potential feedstocks for fermentative ethanol production, which can minimize greenhouse gas emissions from the use of petroleum-based transportation fuels [1] and provide a renewable energy source to combat the diminishing global fossil fuel supply [2].
The Interaction between Cancer Stem Cell Marker CD133 and Src Protein Promotes Focal Adhesion Kinase (FAK) Phosphorylation and Cell Migration
CD133, a widely known cancer stem cell marker, has been proved to promote tumor metastasis. However, the mechanism by which CD133 regulates metastasis remains largely unknown. Here, we report that CD133 knockdown inhibits cancer cell migration, and CD133 overexpression promotes cell migration. CD133 expression is beneficial to activate the Src-focal adhesion kinase (FAK) signaling pathway.
The interaction between cancer stem cell marker CD133 and Src promotes focal adhesion kinase (FAK) phosphorylation and cell migration
CD133, a widely known cancer stem cell (CSC) marker, has been proved to promote tumor metastasis. However, the mechanism by which CD133 regulating metastasis remains largely unknown. Here, we report that CD133 knockdown inhibits cancer cell migration, and CD133 overexpression promotes cell migration. CD133 expression is beneficial to activate Src- focal adhesion kinase (FAK) signaling pathway.
Photostable ester-substituted bis-cyclometalated cationic iridium(
Three bis-cyclometalated cationic Ir( ) complexes Ir1, Ir2 and Ir3 with an ester substituent at the 4-position of the phenyl ring on the 2-phenylpyridine (ppy) have been synthesized and fully characterized. The emission maxima of ester-substituted Ir( ) complexes show a notable blue-shift compared to the parent complex Ir0 [Ir(ppy) (phen)] PF (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline). The influence of an ester group on the photoelectric properties of the Ir( ) complexes has been investigated systematically.
