FeNO may serve as a noninvasive screening tool for gastroesophageal reflux disease in children under 5 years: a retrospective study
Abstract Objective: To investigate the correlation between fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) measurement and pediatric gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), explore potential non-invasive screening indicators for pediatric GERD. Methods: A retrospective cohort of 159 children with suspected GERD was enrolled from the Department of Pediatrics, Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Hubei Province between April 2017 and August 2025.
Solid solvation structure design improves all-solid-state organic batteries - Nature Chemistry
Abstract Organic electrode materials offer a versatile, sustainable approach for next-generation lithium-ion batteries but are limited by low working voltages and poor cycling stability. Here we report a solid-solvation-structure design strategy to improve both the voltage and stability of organic electrode materials in all-solid-state batteries.
High Throughput Screening of High Entropy Spinel Electrolytes for Multivalent Batteries
High Throughput Screening of High Entropy Spinel Electrolytes for Multivalent Batteries High-entropy (HE) design emerged as a promising path for discovering multivalent superionic conductors. This work provides a computational exploration of the synthesizability of HE spinel-based electrolytes among the typical chemical space. Design principles have been established, while experimental synthesis has supported the stability rules predicted by computational data.
Self-Sacrifice of Sulfide Electrolytes Facilitating Stable Solid-State Sodium-Sulfur Batteries Sulfide electrolytes have emerged as the preferred choice for solid-state sodium-sulfur (Na-S) batteries due to their excellent compatibility with sulfur cathodes. Despite their advantages, such as high ionic conductivity, mechanical flexibility, and enhanced safety, challenges like narrow electrochemical stability windows and inadequate interfacial contact persist and require urgent resolution.

Study on the heating law of thermal effect of HIFU on tissue based on piezoelectric ceramic voltage and vibration frequency - Scientific Reports
Abstract When high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) is used to heat human tissues during surgery, shortening the heating time and increasing the heating rate are crucial for implementing surgery. During operations, the vibration frequencies and voltages that are suitable for piezoelectric ceramics can maximize the heating rate of HIFU.

Construction of N-doped nickel sulfide nanosheets via PANI as Nitrogen donor for superior electrocatalytic water splitting
Construction of N-doped nickel sulfide nanosheets via PANI as Nitrogen donor for superior electrocatalytic water splitting Liwen Hu, Dan Xiang, Yi Gan, Liangying Wen, Xuewei Lv, Meilong Hu, Yuntao Xin and Zhuoran Hou Abstract It is indeed critical to develop efficient and low-cost catalysts for water splitting to meet the growing energy demands.
Optimization of 3D Tolerance Design Based on Cost–Quality–Sensitivity Analysis to the Deviation Domain
4.2. Construction of Assembly Tolerance Loop Based on Functional Surface A tolerance loop is an assembly tolerance transfer chain that needs to be used in the conceptual design stage. It is a closed loop that describes the constraint relationship between nominal geometry and variational geometric constraints using diagrams and other methods on the basis of separation from the solid model. There is no uniform form of tolerance loops. Many loops can be formed in an assembly.

Epigallocatechin-3 gallate prevents pressure overload-induced heart failure by up-regulating SERCA2a via histone acetylation modification in mice
Heart failure is a common, costly, and potentially fatal condition. The cardiac sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca-ATPase (SERCA2a) plays a critical role in the regulation of cardiac function. Previously, low SERCA2a expression was revealed in mice with heart failure. Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) can function as an epigenetic regulator and has been reported to enhance cardiac function. However, the underlying epigenetic regulatory mechanism is still unclear.
Complete chloroplast genome sequence of the avocado: gene organization, comparative analysis, and phylogenetic relationships with other Lauraceae
The complete chloroplast sequence of the avocado (Persea americana Mill.), a popular tropical fruit tree, was determined in this study. The plastome consists of 152 723 bp, with a typical circular structure including inverted repeats (IRs) 40 104 bp in length separated by a large single-copy region (LSC) and a small single-copy region (SSC) of 93 795 bp and 18 824 bp, respectively.
