Abstract Although chemoimmunotherapy has been the standard first-line treatment for extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC), survival benefits remain unsatisfactory and effective biomarkers are lacking. Circulating cytokines and inflammatory indices provide non-invasive, dynamic monitoring advantages. However, their prognostic value and associations with immune-related adverse events (irAEs) remain unclear.

Abstract Childhood maltreatment (CM) is a major public health concern that substantially raises the risk of adolescent school bullying. While mindfulness alleviates trauma-related distress by enhancing emotional regulation, its mediating effect on the link between maltreatment and bullying remains poorly understood. This cross-sectional study recruited 27,530 adolescents aged 10–17 years. Multilevel logistic regression and structural equation modeling were applied.

In this study, we performed an integrated analysis of single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) and bulk RNA-seq data to characterize endothelial cell heterogeneity associated with carotid plaque instability.

1 Introduction The aging of the population is occurring at an accelerated pace [1]. Dementia is one of the fastest-growing age-related diseases, expected to affect over 150 million by 2050 [2, 3]. Cardiometabolic diseases (CMDs, including heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes [T2D]) are firmly established independent risk factors for dementia [4-9]. The dementia risk associated with CMDs was three times greater than that associated with high genetic risk [6].

Abstract In this study, we use granular GPS data to demonstrate that consumers’ daily store visits measured by foot traffic to firms’ commercial locations significantly decrease following media reports of firms’ negative environmental, social, and governance (ESG) news. The decrease is greater for firms located in counties with higher social capital and internet usage and for firms whose brand names are more easily recognisable from their company names.
