1 Introduction Hyperlipidemia (HL), a common metabolic disorder, is primarily characterized by elevated plasma concentrations of total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) (Rosenson et al., 2024; Takaoka et al., 2024). HL is closely associated with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, notably atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease.
