TINA: a geometry-aware post-hoc scoring framework for protein-protein interaction
Abstract Accurate identification of the most native-like conformation remains a critical bottleneck in protein complex structure prediction, particularly when multiple globally plausible candidate models are generated by deep learning methods such as AlphaFold3 (AF3). While AF3 provides internal confidence metrics such as ipTM and pLDDT, these signals often lack sufficient sensitivity to distinguish subtle but structurally meaningful differences in local interface geometry.

Collaborative perception enables connected agents to share complementary observations for 3D object detection, extending sensing range and mitigating occlusion. Under asynchronous communication, however, cooperative features arrive with temporal delay.

Infection and α-ketoglutarate/oxygen inhibition converge to CDC20 to promote cancer cell aneuploidy
Abstract Aneuploidy is pervasive in cancers and contributes to chemoresistance; however, how aneuploidy-inducing stresses, such as infection and hypoxia, promote chemoresistance remains unclear. Here, we identify a prolyl hydroxylase domain protein 1 (PHD1)–E3 ubiquitin ligase TRIM21–cell division cycle protein 20 (CDC20) signaling axis that integrates infection- and PHD1-inhibitory signals to drive aneuploidy and chemoresistance.

Filling the holes in whole genomes: A vision for personalized genomics from telomere to telomere
Main text As first stated in the 1980s, the aspirational goal of the Human Genome Project was “to obtain the complete nucleotide sequence of the human genome” (emphasis added) along with the genomes of model organisms essential for “understanding human gene structure, function, and evolution.”1 Despite being beyond our wildest dreams only a decade prior, the project was a resounding success and formed the foundation of modern genomics research.
Facilitating structure-based drug discovery with an artificial intelligence-driven virtual screening platform
Abstract Structure-based virtual screening (VS) via molecular docking is a pivotal approach for hit identification. Many artificial intelligence (AI)-powered protein–ligand docking and scoring methods have demonstrated impressive speed and accuracy. Retrospective benchmarking studies using enrichment rate and computational efficiency on curated datasets have corroborated their potential for discovering bioactive compounds.

Targeting the intrinsically disordered AR-NTD through a machine learning-based enhanced sampling workflow
Abstract Targeting the intrinsically disordered N-terminal domain of the androgen receptor (AR-NTD) represents a promising strategy to overcome resistance in prostate cancer. However, its inherent lack of a stable tertiary structure and highly dynamic conformational ensemble pose formidable challenges for rational drug design.
High encoding-sensitivity vision sensor with complementary nonlinear neuromorphic computing
Abstract Building a neuromorphic vision sensor capable of signal processing and spike generation is essential for developing hardware tailored to brain-inspired spiking neural networks. A critical challenge, however, is the constrained adaptive sensitivity when dealing with expanding ranges of light intensity.
Fruquintinib plus sintilimab in advanced cervical cancer: an open-label, multicentre, phase 2 study
|
Abstract Efficacy of second-line treatments after first-line platinum-based chemotherapy in advanced cervical cancer is modest. This open-label, single-arm, multicentre, proof-of-concept phase 2 study evaluated fruquintinib plus sintilimab in advanced cervical cancer. Patients recruited between July 2021 and June 2022 had received at least first-line platinum-based chemotherapy or were unable to receive standard treatment in China.

LaMGen: LLM-based 3D molecular generation for multi-target drug design
Abstract Multi-target drugs hold great promise for treating complex diseases, yet existing methodologies predominantly rely on ligand-based approaches, which lack sufficient biological context and are often confined to specific target pairs, resulting in limited generalizability. Here, we introduce LaMGen, a general-purpose multi-target drug design framework powered by large language models (LLMs).

Token-Mol 1.0: tokenized drug design with large language models - Nature Communications
Abstract The integration of large language models (LLMs) into drug design is gaining momentum; however, existing approaches often struggle to effectively incorporate three-dimensional molecular structures. Here, we present Token-Mol, a token-only 3D drug design model that encodes both 2D and 3D structural information, along with molecular properties, into discrete tokens.

Transurethral Fulguration of Hunner Lesion Was Effective for Primary Management of Pelvic Pain in Patients With Interstitial Cystitis: A Long‐Term Follow‐Up Study
1 Introduction The International Continence Society defines bladder pain syndrome (BPS)/interstitial cystitis (IC) as persistent or recurrent chronic pelvic pain, pressure or discomfort perceived to be related to the urinary bladder accompanied by at least one other urinary symptom, such as an urgent need to void or urinary frequency [1]. BPS/IC is divided into Hunner type IC and BPS [2]. Hunner type IC is a case in which a Hunner lesion is observed on cystoscopy [2].

A Knowledge‐Guided Graph Learning Approach Bridging Phenotype‐ and Target‐Based Drug Discovery
1 Introduction Phenotype-based drug discovery (PDD) and target-based drug discovery (TDD) are two major approaches in drug discovery. Historically, the primary method for drug discovery rested upon phenotype-based techniques, involving the observation of molecule-induced therapeutic effects on disease phenotypes in cellular models, and animals. The advent of molecular biology revolution in the 1980s shifted the focus to TDD.

Highly efficient construction of monkey blastoid capsules from aged somatic cells - Nature Communications
Abstract Blastoids—blastocyst-like structures created in vitro—emerge as a valuable model for early embryonic development research. Non-human primates stem cell-derived blastoids are an ethically viable alternative to human counterparts, yet the low formation efficiency of monkey blastoid cavities, typically below 30%, has limited their utility. Prior research has predominantly utilized embryonic stem cells.

How host-like signals drive gene expression and capsule expansion in Cryptococcus neoformans
Abstract Cryptococcus neoformans is an opportunistic fungal pathogen with a polysaccharide capsule that becomes greatly enlarged in the mammalian host and during in vitro growth under host-like conditions. To understand how individual environmental signals affect capsule size and gene expression, we grew cells in all combinations of five signals implicated in capsule size and systematically measured cell and capsule sizes.
