Abstract Understanding how spatial spillovers evolve over time—strengthening, weakening, or reversing—is a fundamental challenge in spatial econometrics, yet most empirical studies rely on static weight matrices that assume time-invariant spatial dependence.
Reconceptualizing Aplastic Anemia—Seed, Worm, Soil
1 Introduction Aplastic anemia (AA) is a rare bone marrow failure disorder, with a high mortality rate if untreated [1, 2]. The definition and diagnosis of AA have evolved over time, forming a more independent and precise disease classification system through ongoing research [1, 3]. Dr. Paul Ehrlich first introduced the concept, which was expanded upon by Dr. Anatole Chauffard in 1904.
How does China’s low-carbon city pilot program promote green investment: a spatial–temporal analysis at the city and firm levels
Abstract The study examines how China Low-Carbon City Pilot (LCCP) program, as a comprehensive environmental regulation, promotes green investment using a dual-level framework that links firm-level behavioral response with city-level spatial dynamics. Using panel data for 276 cities and 28,907 listed firms from 2008 to 2021, we employ multi-period difference-in-differences and a spatial DiD approach.
Structure-adaptive single-atom nickel catalysts for pure hydrogen peroxide electrosynthesis at industrial current density
Abstract The generation of pure hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) through two-electron oxygen reduction reaction represents a promising avenue for sustainable chemical production. However, a fundamental understanding of inevitable reconstruction of active sites during electrolysis remains elusive, hindering the development of dualable electrocatalysts. Herein, we report a structure-adaptive electrocatalyst featuring self-regulating capabilities under reaction.

Biregionally differentiated growth generates sharp apex and concave joints in leaves
INTRODUCTION Leaves exhibit a wide range of shapes and structures, with their diversity being pivotal for photosynthesis and adaptation to local niches (Nicotra et al., 2011). Leaf morphology also plays an important role in taxonomy and systematics (Viscosi & Cardini, 2011). To study leaf morphology, it is essential to examine leaf contours, which can be described as a curve along the margin (Tsukaya, 2018).

Endothelial STING-JAK1 interaction promotes tumor vasculature normalization and antitumor immunity
Abstract Stimulator of interferon genes (STING) agonists have been developed and tested in clinical trials for their antitumor activity. However, the specific cell population(s) responsible for such STING activation–induced antitumor immunity have not been completely understood. In this study, we demonstrated that endothelial STING expression was critical for STING agonist–induced antitumor activity.
Aurora kinase A promotes trained immunity via regulation of endogenous S-adenosylmethionine metabolism
Abstract Innate immune cells can acquire a memory phenotype, termed trained immunity, but the mechanism underlying the regulation of trained immunity remains largely elusive. Here, we demonstrate that inhibition of Aurora kinase A (AurA) dampens trained immunity induced by β-glucan. ATAC-seq and RNA-seq analysis reveals that AurA inhibition restricts chromatin accessibility of genes associated with inflammatory pathways such as JAK-STAT, TNF and NF-κB pathways.

A multimodal therapeutic nano-prodrug as oxidative stress amplifier induces apoptosis and ferroptosis for cancer therapy
A multimodal therapeutic nano-prodrug as oxidative stress amplifier induces apoptosis and ferroptosis for cancer therapy As genotypic and phenotypic mutations that enhance survivability are preserved during the tumor evolution, some cancer cells tend to develop resistance to a particular programmed death, leading to the failure in cancer monotherapy. Fortunately, the combinational therapy of apoptosis and ferroptosis holds the potential in addressing this tumor heterogeneity.

A Novel Function of F-Box Protein FBXO17 in Negative Regulation of Type I IFN Signaling by Recruiting PP2A for IFN Regulatory Factor 3 Deactivation
AbstractThe F-box proteins were originally identified as the key component of SKP1-Cullin1-F-box E3 ligase complexes that control the stability of their specific downstream substrates essential for cell growth and survival. However, the involvement of these proteins in type I IFN (IFN-I) signaling during innate immunity has not been investigated. In this study we report that the F-box protein FBXO17 negatively regulates IFN-I signaling triggered by double-strand DNA, RNA, or viral infection.

Complex Regulation Pattern of IRF3 Activation Revealed by a Novel Dimerization Reporter System
Induction of type I IFN (IFN-I) is essential for host antiviral immune responses. However, IFN-I also plays divergent roles in antibacterial immunity, persistent viral infections, autoimmune diseases, and tumorigenesis. IFN regulatory factor 3 (IRF3) is the master transcription factor that controls IFN-I production via phosphorylation-dependent dimerization in most cell types in response to viral infections and various innate stimuli by pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs).
