PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - UPDATE (8/26, 6 p.m.) - In an update Wednesday night, fire officials said the Aspen Acres Fire is now 82% contained with 102,004 acres burned. 153 crews are fighting the fire. Officials said areas above CO 165 are difficult to access, and aircraft, drones and infrared detection are helping fight the fire in these areas. They said ground crews have had to leave the mountain at times due to lightning and other weather conditions.
