Before that, he worked as a journalist in Australia for more than five years, most of those with a specific focus on state politics. What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Apart from the myriad social media and encrypted messaging apps, I spend a lot of time using Microsoft Excel and data scrapers.
Why did you become a journalist?
Initially because of a love of words. Now it's more because I love telling other peoples' stories and uncovering the stories that matter.
