ROCK VALLEY, Iowa (KTIV) - Rock Valley will receive more than $25 million from the federal government to support its ongoing recovery from flooding that struck the town two years ago. When the Rock River flooded the Sioux County community in June 2024, nearly 150 homes were destroyed or damaged beyond repair. Congressman Randy Feenstra said FEMA has approved the purchase of 104 flood-damaged properties through voluntary buyouts and the release of $22 million in support for Rock Valley.
