Optimal 24-hour movement behaviour compositions across trimesters and risk of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy: the Pregnancy 24/7 cohort study

Discussion This study examined 24-hour movement behaviours in each trimester using device-based measurement and compositional data analysis to describe associations with HDP in a multisite pregnancy cohort. When holding MVPA and sleep constant at median levels consistent with guidelines, SED and LPA remained strongly associated with HDP, independent of trimester.
