What does it mean to be a journalist?

To tell the stories that wouldn't otherwise be told. To give a voice to the voiceless. To help people better understand our world.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

I produced a story on an ASU basketball player Remy Martin's connection to his family's Filipino roots and his leadership traits as a result.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Work hard. Grind for every opportunity. Fake it until you make it, and work even harder once you do.
