JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - One employee was killed, and another was injured after an armed robbery at Sally Food Mart on North Flag Chapel Road in West Jackson early Friday morning. Jackson police said the shooting happened around 1 a.m. Friday. Police have not released the identities of the victims. SIMPSON COUNTY, Miss. — Two deputies with the Simpson County Sheriff’s Office are under internal investigation following accusations of sexual harassment and misuse of evidence access. Deputies Marvin Miller and Michael Payne have served with Simpson County for years. WLBT obtained social media messages that the deputies appear to have exchanged with women that show disturbing behavior while on the job, according to people who say they were impacted by the alleged abuse.
