Houston County gets new district judge

HOUSTON COUNTY, Ala. (WTVY) - Bart Boothe has been appointed as Houston County’s new district judge, taking over from District Judge Lori Ingram, who retired after 16 years of service. Governor Kay Ivey appointed Boothe last week to fill the position. Boothe brings extensive legal experience to the role, most recently serving as a defense attorney.
